We count with our base in Quito, the Hummingbird´s Garden, where for years now we keep an organic garden, a ceremonial place and camping sites. You can also do volunteer work there.
In Guapulo, originally a town as old as Quito and now a traditional neighborhood, we have been developing this space since 2001. All of Ocelote´s work started here.
This space is the precursor of Ocelote project, originally with the same principles and purposes; From this little piece of Quito comes the need to have a complementary space where we can develop our work more widely and deeply.
In this space that was originally a garbage dump full of weeds, we now have a small oasis of Andean forest, which is a refuge for dozens of species of birds and small animals.
What we have:
Ceremonial healing space where medicine ceremonies and other workshops on different topics about human development and healing are held.
It is a room of 50 square meters with basic services such as kitchen, bathroom and a ware place.
We also have a Temascal (sweat lodge).
We have 2 orchard spaces where we produce organic vegetables and fruits, there are several spaces for camping.
You can bring your own camping equipment or we can provide it for you.
Ocelotes´s organic products are also available here: coffee, cacao, banana vinegar, turmeric, ginger, sal prieta, jams.
Contamos con nuestra base en Quito, el Jardín del Colibrí, donde desde hace años mantenemos un huerto orgánico, un lugar ceremonial y espacios para acampar. También puedes hacer trabajo de voluntariado allí.
